In the first episode of Top Gear America, a newly-recast version of the classic BBC car-review series, celebrity host William Fichtner calls the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor he is test driving "a fighter jet on four wheels." He's almost right.
Ford Performance recently designed a one-of-a-kind F-150 Raptor based on the U.S. Air Force’s Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor fighter jet. Apparently Fichtner was not the first to notice the resemblance.

The special F-22 F-150 Raptor was auctioned off for $300,000 to benefit the Experimental Aircraft Association's Young Eagles program, an education program designed to get youth involved in aviation.
The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor may not be able to fly, but it shares the fighter jet's precision and muscle, boasting 510 pound-feet of torque, and FOX Racing Shox honed for high-speed off-road performance.
